Wendy Williams Is Reportedly In Complete Denial Over Husband Kevin Hunters Affair

After taking a break for nearly three months, Wendy Williams returned to her popular syndicated talk show this week. And, during her emotional return, she made it clear that she is standing by her husband of 25 years, Kevin Hunter, despite rumors that he has a mistress.

“I want to shout out my husband. I’m still wearing my ring,” she said during her comeback to The Wendy Williams Show. “He is my best friend, my lover, he’s all this, and he’s all that. I know what you’ve been saying, and I know what the streets have been talking about.”

Williams worried fans late last year after some weird behavior on-air that included slurred speech. The 54-year-old had been struggling with thyroid issues and problems with her Graves’ disease. But, according to Radar Online, it’s Hunter’s alleged infidelity that has sent her reeling, and it was his affair that caused her three-month break.

An insider says that Hunter never gave anyone at the show updates about Williams’ health, and never told the staff how his wife was feeling or when she would return.

At the beginning of Monday’s episode, Williams told her crowd that marriage is not easy, but you shouldn’t ask her about hers unless her ring is gone. But, she says “it ain’t going anywhere” in this lifetime.

Williams insisted that her hiatus was due to health issues.

According to Page Six, the talk show host wore a $2,200 Valentino dress for her return to TV, and she started the show with her signature, “How you doing?” She also wore a new blonde bob and appeared to be in good spirits.

She also gave details about how she is feeling, saying she is “swell” and revealing that she has so many doctors she has lost count. Williams also said that she had to endure a number of blood pressure tests, MRIs, and CAT scans.

Williams also revealed that Hunter was by her side during her all of her doctor appointments, and she is still “very much in love” with her husband.

She gave details about her time off, saying that the Hunters were spending time as a family and she needed to take time for herself. Williams says she is her own best friend, and she has been taking her meds, meditating, and going to the gym seven days a week and working out for two hours every day.

Williams also apologized to fans for her long absence and said that it wouldn’t happen again.
