Sarah Darling Confirms 'Wasted' as New Single

US country music sensation Sarah Darling has become an adopted Brit over this past year with stellar live sets around the country including support slots at UK duo Ward Thomas’ concerts. Britain has truly taken Darling to their hearts and this has been proven with her sell-out headlining gig in London last week.

And next year she will be returning with her biggest UK show to date with a concert at the Union Chapel, London on the 5th March. Tickets are on sale now.

And along with her brilliant live sets she has also teamed up with the record breaking Ward Thomas for an exciting collaboration titled ‘Our Own Song’. The gorgeous track was written by Sarah, Catherine and Lizzy in Nashville earlier this year and the two acts premiered it last week at the Guildford show at the G Live. It’s a truly stunning ballad and their three voices sound sublime together.

But this collaboration isn’t the only new music Sarah Darling has on the horizon. During our exclusive interview with the star last month she confirmed that she has a new single coming out on March 2nd, with her new LP due to follow shortly afterwards. And the title of the track has now been confirmed.

Sarah Darling exclusively told Belles and Gals that the new single will be the emotive ‘Wasted’. Darling wrote this song ten-years ago after a family member called her because their marriage was failing. It was premiered during her support slot at the GLive gig last week and the audience fell in love with it. It is a stunning, stripped back ballad about how people deal with their loved ones suffering from an addiction.
